Abstract:: China is developing education for older adults as an important measure to cope with the aging population, realize the modernization of education, and build a learning society. Education for older adults in China is now improving, and it is playing an active role in improving the quality of life of older adults. This paper proposes that the development of education for older adults in China should focus on the following aspects: expanding the educational resources, strengthening the educational network, establishing innovative teaching models, and digitally empowering. In the future, the development of education for older adults should focus on legal construction and coordination among relevant departments as well as playing a leading role and developing the role of older adults to its full potential.
