GLL aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for theoretically-informed and policy-relevant applied research in lifelong learning, promoting exchange and collaboration among educational and social science researchers, and educational policy makers throughout the world.

Preferred topic areas include open and distance learning, educational technology, adult education, formal and non-formal education, workplace learning, lifelong learning policies, and various applications of the lifelong learning paradigm.
The editors welcome informed papers from new and established scholars which encourage and enhance academic debate.
